Farid

Born to make paying audiences happy, Farid’s love for reading eventually opened the doors to what he terms as his ‘number one passion’ – Magic.

Stumbling upon some magical tomes in the libraries of Singapore, his quest for magical powers (which at that time already included the ability to make coins vanish) ensured his weekends was spent hunting for magic books. Farid would certainly agree that it was all not a waste of time, seeing that audiences now pay him big bucks to perform magic for them.

Due to Farid’s personal preference for close-up magic, he is most comfortable performing for small groups of people in an intimate setting. Farid likes to get up close and personal with card tricks, rope tricks and of course, coin tricks. Audiences enjoy his off-beat humour and his wacky sense of magic during his performances. Nonetheless, Farid is also capable of performing on stage, blending comedy and illusion in a seamless show of amazement and amusement.
